Appointment of the new H5 Grand Master

To be sure that the Harrisburg Hershey Hash House Harriers remains in good hands, according to tradition and the history of H5, the Grand Master position is by appointment by the former Grand Masters. Thus Bridge Bandit, Squeeze Me and Bushrat will select their successor and Bushrat will appoint the new Grand Master of H5 during circle at the July 12, 2008.

Non-GM Positions

First, there will be no voting for Hare Raiser this Sat. July 12. All positions under GM will be appointed.

Second, there will be a few new positions created in mis-management. Those include Joint-Master(not what everyone is thinking), Haber-Dasher and maybe one more.

Third, some positions are staying the same. Hash Cash will be She Came. She Came will let the Haber Dasher do the awards. Web-Mistress will be KY and she will continue to "Love Everyone". Fuzz will continue to be our Financial Advisor.

All other positions I will talk to current people holding those positions and see what they want to do. Some may want to stay on and some may want or be asked to take another position.

Fourth, these appointments willl not happen overnight. It may take a couple of months. If you want to volunteer for any open position talk to Deathwish directly at a hash, call him or email him personally.

Fifth, until a new Hare Raiser is in place, Eager Beaver will continue to do a fine job with this position. She has agreed to assume this responsibility until her replacement is secured.

Sixth, at this Sat. July 12 hash we will start to talk about when this process will be repeated. I am thinking every 2 years which is about 50 hashes. Please do not email the whole group with your thoughts. Cum out to the hash and let and tell us what you think. I know some can't do this because of military or other good reason.

Lastly and I don't know what number I am up to but thank you all again for helping H5 get back to being the best damn hash anywhere on the planet.
